Wouldn’t it be nice if we lived in a world in which the FBI went after corrupt politicians, embezzling executives, and tax-evading corporations with the same tenacity they do websites that enable people to download TV shows from the 1980s? Like, yes, pirating shit on-line is illegal and I’ve no doubt that ~the industry~ does suffer some losses for it, but good God damn. I’m pretty sure the industry - particularly the music industry, wherein the vast majority of profits goes to executives - is itself the problem.
