Bad Machinery Book 2 available now!

scarygoround:

I’m proud to announce that Bad Machinery Book 2: the Case Of The Good Boy is now available through Oni Press!

I’ve done more than thirty new pages for this edition, plus bonus material from the top drawer. We’re all proud of this book and I hope you enjoy it.

The best way (for me) that you can get the it is through Topatoco. It’s available in softcover and VERY LIMITED hardcover, and in a money-saving combo pack with Book 1.

If you’re outside the US/Canada, you can get it from your local comic shop - if they don’t have it, ask them to order it for you. Any bookshop will be able to order it for you - its ISBN is 9781620101148 -  it’s not in normal bookshops until March 12th.

In the UK, I recommend the following stores:
Travelling Man (Leeds, Manchester), Page 45 (Nottingham), Gosh! Comics and Orbital (London), Dave’s Comics (Brighton).

Most importantly of all, tell your friends, and hopefully these collections will keep coming.

i suddenly understand that scene in back to the future where marty mcfly takes the credit for “johnny b goode” and how deeply deeply satisfying it is to credit real-life works of art to your own awesome fictional characters

and here it is.

my 24 hour comic

took 22 hours. and then a little longer for some edits but. I’ve still got another hour till my 24 is officially up, and I’m definitely gonna be snoozing.

For having no planning except a selkie design and a rough concept of the girl, I think I did alright. I definitely pushed my self to try new things and, I’m happy about that. there are some things I’d like to tweak but… NOPE! IM DONE!

I also learned how much I can get done when I don’t distract myself so much. have to figure out how to rein that in haha.

also, if you’re curious about the title! fun fact time thanks to wikipedia (so it may or may not be true)

Selkies (also known as silkies or selchies) are mythological creatures found in FaroeseIcelandic,[1] Irish,[2] and Scottish folklore. The word derives from earlier Scots selich, (from Old English seolh meaning seal)
